Charlotte Symphony Announces Summer Pops Line-up

The Charlotte Symphony Summer Pops season has been announced, and concerts include everything from video games to Queen!

The symphony’s annual summer concert series has been going on since 1983 and includes performances both in South Park and Uptown. For the South Park performances, children 12 and under can attend for free. Adult tickets range from $14 to $20. Tickets for the concerts at the Belk Theatre start at $19.

A night of Broadway’s best-loved show tunes. Hear selections from Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, Wicked, and more!

Celebrate America! with fireworks
Wednesday, July 3rd at 8:15 p.m.
Join your Charlotte Symphony for a rousing salute to America with a night of patriotic favorites including Sousa marches, America the Beautiful, and the Armed Forces Medley – all topped off by a spectacular fireworks finale!

We will, we will rock you! Amped up with a vocalist and full rock band, your Charlotte Symphony pays tribute to Freddie Mercury and Queen with unforgettable hits like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions” and “Somebody to Love.”

Video Games Live!
Friday, June 28th at 7:30 p.m.
A completely immersive concert experience! Music from the greatest video games of all time performed live, featuring Mega Man, Silent Hill 2, Metroid, Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, God of War, Mass Effect, StarCraft II, Dota 2, Beyond Good & Evil, music from the upcoming release Destiny, and more, including new arrangements from Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft!
