Concert Lineup Announced for 2018’s Circle K Speed Street

Get ready to rock on NASCAR fans! The concert lineup for the 24th annual Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola has officially been announced – which only means one thing. This year’s Speed Street is almost here!

Crowds of Charlotteans will the fill streets of uptown Charlotte from May 24-26 to celebrate the May races at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Be excited because every night of the jampacked and family-fun weekend will feature a musical guest!

Leading off the weekend of concerts is the rock band Judah & the Lion on Thursday, March 24. The band will perform on the Coca-Cola stage at 8:45 p.m. The band was recently named the Best New Alt./Rock Artist at the 2018 iHeart Radio Music Awards.

Two Charlotte-based bands, Reaves and Jaggermouth, will open for the trio at 6:30 p.m.

Country singers Easton Corbin and Chase Rice will be co-headlining on Friday, March 25. Travis Denning, who is a singer-songwriter from Georgia, will open for the country singers at 6:30 p.m.

Dustin Lynch will be headlining Speed Street on Saturday, May 26. Brett Young is also expected to perform at 8 p.m. Lindsay Ell will open for the country superstars at 6:30 p.m.

The three nights of concerts will take place at Romare Bearden Park.

All of the other events and activities hosted by Speed Street will be free to the public.

Tickets for the concerts go on sale on Friday, April 13 at $15. On May 1, ticket prices will increase to $25.

Make sure you don’t wait until the day of the show to buy tickets because they will then cost $35!
