Meet Kyle Mosher, the Artist Behind Some of Charlotte’s Murals

He may not consider himself a muralist, but you've probably seen his work in Plaza Midwood.

Murals in Charlotte pop up quick, seemingly overnight. But the truth is a lot of planning, work and paint go into the amazing displays the Queen City is getting!

One of the artists contributing is Kyle Mosher – and he’ll be the first to tell you he doesn’t consider himself a ‘traditional’ muralist. That hasn’t stopped him from creating some the city’s most Instagrammable spots including the Midwood Crowns and Skyline in Plaza Midwood and the boxing mural in NoDa.

His work happens over nights, the time span shorter or longer depending on deadline. He works with traditional materials like paint and brushes, but you’ll also find industrial paint rollers, hairdryers and ladders.

#QueenCityWknd joined him as he works on his newest mural in Uptown. Check it out!
