The festival will celebrate its 26th year.
When it comes to tradition, the Matthews Alive Festival has plenty of experience. For the past 26 years, Labor Day Weekend in the small town has meant music, vendors and fun for every age. And 2018 will be no different!
Entertainment starts Friday night, August 31st, at 6 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. It picks up again that Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and goes until 9 p.m. On Sunday, music begins at noon and ends at 9 p.m. The final day of the festival is Labor Day, starting at 9 a.m. and going until 5 p.m.
For those looking to attend the parade, it happens on Saturday morning, September 1st, at 10:30 a.m.
While entry into Matthews Alive is free, the carnival midway will cost money to participate! You can get a sheet of tickets for $20 or an all you can ride wristband for $15 on Friday night. Don’t forget some extra cash for vendors and food!
