NC’s Free Fishing Day 2019 Is Happening July 4th

Who says fishing and fireworks don't go together?

There’s nothing better than relaxing on a pier with a cold one in your hand on a warm summer’s day with absolutely no worries in the world besides what kind of fish you might catch. If that sounds like your perfect day, then you’re in luck! Free Fishing Day 2019 is coming up soon!

These days are perfect for beginners who may not have a fishing license and want to head out on the lake and try the hobby for the first time.

Anglers in the Carolinas are invited to participate in the state’s annual free fishing day that takes place on July 4th. Make sure you add fishing to your list of Fourth of July festivities. Who says fishing and fireworks don’t go together?

South Carolinians can also enjoy free fishing day on Memorial Day in addition to Independence Day.

Be sure to note that individual states may place certain restrictions and other regulations may apply. Make sure you contact your state fish and wildlife agency for specific state regulations.

While fishers may not need a license, all other limits and restrictions still apply.
