Pumpkin Spice Lattes May Return Sooner Than Expected

It may still be hot and humid, but Starbucks is already thinking pumpkin and spice and everything nice.

Yes, the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte could be back sooner this year!

Several news sources are reporting that a closed Starbucks Facebook group which “celebrates fall all year long” speculates the drink could be back as soon as August 26th or 28th.

The private group, led by “The Leaf Rakers Society,” includes Starbucks baristas who are in the know. However, Starbucks has not officially announced a return date.

A Reddit post shows that supplies for PSLs are already being distributed to Starbucks locations, which is a promising sign.

PSLs are usually available around late August or early September, and this year will likely be similar.

Starbucks sent Palmetto Weekend this statement, promoting their in-store PSL flavors: “Our pumpkins aren’t ready to make their handcrafted PSL debut yet – we’ll have more news to share soon. In the meantime, PSL fans can enjoy at-home and on-the-go versions of their favorite seasonal flavor, available in grocery starting next week!”

But for now, keep your calendars and reward cards at the ready.
