A new development is coming to the Wesley Heights neighborhood! The former Mitchum Quality Snacks factory off Morehead Street is being revitalized into a new development called Salt + Vinegar.
According to the development’s website, the 74,000 square feet project will include two buildings on the property with a combination of restaurant, retail and office space.
The website reads, “We’re celebrating this delicious part of Charlotte’s history by naming the two buildings at 2001 W. Morehead Street “Salt & Vinegar.” Besides being our favorite type of potato chip, its lighthearted name acts as a demonstration of our vision for the property, which has been around since 1955. Through adaptive reuse, we’ll get to keep a classic intact, but make it even better than it was before.”
Developers White Point Partners have already devoted 22,000 square feet of the development to the newest Legion Brewing location (their third in the Charlotte area).
